What Auto Paint Guard offers

Services this shop lists publicly. New to any of these? Here's the plain-English version, and a full guide from us.

Paint Protection Film (PPF)

A clear, self-healing film applied over your paint to absorb rock chips, scratches, and road rash before they reach the finish.

Ceramic Coating

A liquid polymer that cures into a hard, glossy layer - easier to keep clean and more resistant to water spots and light swirls. It does not stop rock chips.

Window Tint

A film on your glass that cuts heat, glare, and 99%+ of UV. Shade is measured as VLT, and Florida sets legal limits on how dark you can go.

Paint Correction

Machine polishing that removes swirls, light scratches, and oxidation to bring the gloss back - usually the prep step before a coating.

What to ask before you book

Same smart questions we'd ask any shop - it's how you avoid being oversold.

  • Get the total in writing, itemized. The number you're quoted should be the number you pay - no surprises on install day.
  • Which brand of film or coating, and what warranty? Ask for the product name and who backs the warranty - the manufacturer, the shop, or both.
  • How do they prep? A good install includes a proper wash and decontamination first - and for a coating, paint correction before it goes on.
  • Can they show recent work on a vehicle like yours? Photos or a car in the shop tell you more than a star rating.
  • What's not included? Edges, door jambs, extra panels, and old-film removal are common add-ons - confirm what's in the price.
